Mango Plate Marker/Cutter system

  • The system can be retrofitted to existing Pull or Undercut saws with conveyor systems, or supplied with the Mango Apollo saw.
  • Productivity is increased. The operator marks up to 2500 feet of plates per shift. The operator can use a simple carpenters pencil (or similar) for marking of the plates.
  • The systems versatility allows raking of top plates to be marked independently to the bottom plates, just as simply as marking the standard plates.
  • Considerable labor savings. You don’t need your best people on the job. The system is simple to operate, novices achieve full production capabilities within a couple of hours.
  • Cost savings and great value. Comparisons in the USA indicate that the Mango system provides double the output capabilities of the competing laser markers, at one third (1/3) the investment cost.

  • Overview

    The Mango Plate Marker is simple to operate.

    • Operator can easily select individual panels as designed by detailing office
    • The cutting and marking data can be sent to the system computer by disk or network system (network card supplied)
    • After the operator has selected a wall, the Mango delivery pusher proceeds to the correct position for plate cutting.
    • Cutting of the first end of the plate stock results in a square cut, which the operator sends to the delivery pusher. The other end is then docked.
    • The system sends the pusher back into place to allow the plates to be repositioned and marked at the marking stop.
    • After marking the first stud, an adjustable time delay is activated to allow progression of plates through each stud location in sequence.
    • After the plates have been marked the operator can choose to cut the rest of the wall components from the cutting data on the screen.

In most cases it’s fast enough to allow you mark all the plates you need for the shift and then cut the components for these walls. The software has batching and filtering features that further improve the efficiency of the cutting.


    Specifications

    • Max wall length = 6m. This can be increased or decreased on request. Confirm this at the time of order
    • Min wall length = 0m
    • Max mark width = no limit. The system will mark the start and end of a long mark
    • Min mark width is limited by the width of the flip over stop. The normal flip over stop is 35mm
    • Power : 1 single phase, 10 amp power point
    • Air : no air
