Overview
The Mango Plate Marker is an IT and machinery system that allows the operator to cut wall plates to length and mark the position of the wall studs and other components that will nail to the wall plate. The marks are done with a marking pen operated by hand.
Features
- The wall plate is positioned by the length drive system at the marking point that allows the operator to mark the stud location with a marking pen.
- The length drive will hold each position for a set time then it will automatically move to the next mark location. The “hold” time is adjustable.
- System is standard with automated length movement only. It can be optioned to include automated angle movement.
- The method of operation is that the wall that you want to mark is selected on the screen, the plates are placed on the saw bench and cut to length using the truss cutting saw. The saw will have set to the angle required automatically if auto angle drive is fitted. Once the plates are cut the length will reset so that the plates are now in position to be marked at the marking point. Once the first mark has been completed, the length will automatically move the next marking position and the operator will make the next mark. This process is repeated down the length of the wall.
- Available with traditional or touch screen computer screens.
Specifications
- Max wall length = (6m). This can be increased or decreased on request. (Confirm this at the time of order)
- Min wall length = 0
- Max mark width = no limit
- Min mark width is limited by the width of the flip over stop. The normal flip over stop is 35mm in AUS or 1.5” in US & CAN
